1958 Glasspar Trident- FOR SALE was created by nsutton
Hi folks... Selling my 1958 Glasspar Trident.

This boat is gorgeous! 15 foot fiberglass hull, wood dash, lots of 50's character, even has tail fins!

The 1971 Mercury 800 (80 hp) is 13 years younger. Just spent over $1,000 in maintenance work at Dick Sherrer Marine in Norwalk so she's ready to go for summer! New spark plugs, new water pump, lower unit serviced, carbs rebuilt, controls lubed and new throttle cables installed, New marine battery.

Great 1950's green and white gel coat that is still shiny and in fantastic shape, always been both covered and garaged. Little use - a real "garage queen." It's even on the 1950's heavy-duty trailer.

This is a great family skiing or fishing boat - small enough to fit in your garage but big enough to bring the kids along for tubing, skiing, etc.

This is the best way to enjoy an authentic 1950's boat without the maintenance headaches of a leaky, wooden hull.

Tons of accessories included:

- NEW Bimini Top
- Fitted canvas cover - can be used while trailering
- Thick, illustrated Mercury engine maintenance manual
- Vintage swim ladder
- (2) Classic wooden water skis
- Galvanized anchor and rope
- Glasspar burgee / Flag on the stern light pole
- Transom saver (supports engine while trailering)
- Outboard motor flusher "ears"
- (2) Dock lines and fenders
- (2) wearable life jackets / PFDs plus one throwable cushion
- Bridle to hook ski tow rope or tube rope to (but not the tow rope itself)
- Orange skiing / tubing flag
- Paddle
- Air horn

I've always liked the swoopy zoom look of the Trident model, and yours looks like an exceptional example!

Hope your sale goes well!

P.S. Really enjoyed that last pic!
