Bilge was created by 16again
Jerry I'm working on my son's Sedan and I wanted to show him the bilge you put in your sunliner but can't find the post. Can you help me out? Jack

Jack, here are some of the construction pics from my thread "1960 Seafair Sunliner": To create the sump area, I used the space between the stringers to port and starboard of the central stringer. I removed about ten inches of the central stringer and blocked off the forward area under the floor. The bilge sump size is probably greater than needed but it gave room to put in two bilge pumps plus the transducer for the depth sounder. Note: my stringers are wood, if yours are fiberglass the sump would look a little different but the principal is the same. :)

Jack,

I use portable tanks. I made space for up to four 6 gallon tanks. They sit two on either side, end to end, under the splash well and the rear seats. Three tanks can be connected through a fuel switch for easy change-over with just the turn of a lever. .

Jerry, you did an INCREDIBLE job with all that - the only detail and engineering I've seen at that level was my '71 Grand Banks Classic 36. Bravo!
