Yeah, that is a good looking Seafair. I can see that a lot of restoration work has taken place already. Nice project boat.

Ya guys I think this will turn out to be a really fine boat for my son's first project, other than motorcycles. Since it was already painted when I picked it up, once the floor is in it should go fairly quickly. Of course we all know that they never go as quickly as we want. I just hope Jeff doesn't loose interest otherwise I will have two Seafair Sedans.

Jack,
What year is the Sedan? Gonna guess a 61. Looks like you guys have a great shop out there.
Thanks,
Terry

Yes Terry we do have wonderful shop. I'm truly blessed to not only have 3200 sq feet total but that it is divided into, parking, clean and dirty areas. We try hard to keep cutting and grinding and sanding and priming all in the dirty shop away from projects that are nearing completion or are already complete. My biggest blessing is having an opportunity to work side by side with my sons on cars and boats. I think most dad's would give the world for this opportunity. Sometimes I wonder if the boys hang out with the old man just to keep me from doing something dumb like cutting off another digit or to keep mom from getting on them if I were to hurt myself.

Registration paperwork says the boat is a 1959, haven't looked any deeper.

Jack,

Pretty boat for sure although she is probably later than a 59. I see the newer style motor well and side pockets and the gunnel scuppers all which indicate 1960 or later.
Those nice wraparound helm panels were pretty much history by 61.

Thanks,
Terry
