I think it would be a good deal if we got George to participate at any level. But your right with regard to the accommodations. I'm guessing you did not receive a package today.

Jack,

I appreciate the push!

I am hoping that with the rain we've been getting, I'd be able to get our Seafair Sedan out on the water again. It has been waaaay too long! :pinch:  I do have this event on our calender, but would require quite a bit of work not only on the boat, motor but also the trailer. Towing the boat for a six hour drive does not sound like fun....

It's a long time till October, so let's see how things turn out.

George remember last month I took a 1800 mile round trip in 41 hours and just used 2 days. You can do it.

Jack/Jerry,

Admittedly, I just have an aversion to long drives. Never did care for them, but anymore, after about 4-hours on the road, I'm looking for a hotel...  The Glasppar luncheons we've held test my limits for driving in one day.

My wife and I have discussed a road trip to visit our youngest son in Ohio. Both of us are the same about driving and laughingly recognize it would probably take us about three weeks to get there.... B)

We'll see what happens for October, but I can't make any promises. I really do appreciate the invite, tho.

George
