From the BOAT GRAVE YARD TO THIS, amazing was created by edwardgrijalva6020
I don't know why I did not think of this great story before, anyway this is just amazing what a father and son accomplished. The date was May, 7 2005, I was in Southern California, visiting my family and I ran into an old friend and he told me that he had seen a Glasspar G-3 at a storage yard in very bad shape but, very cheap. I think I put the notice on the G.O.A. web site and a Mr.George Bell answered me, and told me that he was interested concerning this G-3 which I named SOS. Before I knew it, Mr. Bell and some of his sons friends went to Southern California, purchase and pick-up the old G-3. Here are some super pictures that show what can be done with a lot of hard work and determination by a Father, George Bell, and his Son, Alex. I just want to say that I am very proud to know and have Mr. Bell as a great Amigo, a job well done.

Hello Eddie,
Thanks for posting “Some Other Sunday” before and after.

Hello George,
I recall you saying the G3 restoration was Alex’s school project and also that he had interviewed Bill Tritt as part of the project. Wonder of you guys would be willing to share the written report and interview?

Thanks,
Terry
