The water inlet for mine is actually on the cavitation plate just above the propeller. Not sure how I will hook up a water source to that area.

You may have to resort to gerry rigging a test tank. We did this with a 55-gal poly drum. Problem was what to do with the oil filled water afterwards...

Did a Google search, and you may want to get a hold of this gentleman. Specializes in direct reversing motors. www.johnsmcintoshvintagemercuryoutboard....Mark75PartsKits.html I'm sure he can give you much better advice than I can.

Finally got the steering and throttle loostened up. Replacing the timing belt next. Any tips on the flywheel removal. I have the puller but this thing is STUCK! Besides soaking with WD-40 and waiting are there any other tricks?

Had to make some priority changes since the HOA does not like my boat sitting in the front yard. I think the Land Cruiser will be fine getting a little sun for a while. Can't wait to pull the boat to the lake with the Land Cruiser.
