Here is something related to George's original question about the origin of that UFO "Glasspar" in San Diego. There is a similar boat for sale in NV (Reno CL). Look at the sheer line, it is clearly the same hull and it is also identified as a Glasspar. Two examples of an unknown class of Glasspars?

JR,

That looks like the same hull for sure. Is there any more info available?

Thanks,
Terry

Terry,

There has been no other boats or documentation found that I have heard about. It is a real UFO (Unidentified Floating Object). :pinch:

Jerry,

Hmmm...guess I need to take a closer look at the post Glasspar/Larsen produced brochures. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Close but no cigar. Went through the various brochures I have (1958 to 1977). Only boat I found with this kind of arched transom was a 1975 V-175:

The mystery continues...
