21-ft Glasspar? was created by gwbell
The recent post by JR on the classified forum prompted me to do a search for Glasspars on Craigslist. Ran across this one but haven't seen this hull design before. Can't imagine someone going through the trouble to mount Glasspar emblems just for grins and giggles...

I was planning on going through the brochures I have, but if anyone else can confirm this model, please speak up.

Hi George, here is my two cents worth. That is not a original deck, never saw one like that in the years that I worked for Glasspar. I remember the designers at Glasspar R&D
talking the pros and cons about the deep V-bottom and also did not like the Trip Chines, I kinda remember Mr. Tritt felt the same way, now I am going back 60 years ago. I think that boat is a home back yard job. I might be wrong, but who cares :>)

Hello George,

Very interesting find. Never saw anything like it and if a 65 would be before the Larson influence. It’s pretty and I like that sweeping sheer line. The first thing that came to my mind was the 31’ Glasspar ‘Celtic Dreamer’

And that is clearly a Tritt design that I believe evolved from the Seafair hull.

Eddie and George are on the case.

Thanks,
Terry

The Dreamer is just a truly stunning work of art.....
I wonder if I plant, fertilize, and water well my Seafair, if it might grow into one of those :P

The 21 footer sure shows some similarities....

Raydawg,

The Sedan actually did grow up into the 21’ Ventura and the 25’ Meridian.

Or was it the Mary Diane?

Then there was also the 21’ Newporter.
