What's all this stuff in my garage?!?!
I found my first boat which was of course a Glasspar, about 12 years ago. I had many other hobbies at the time but little did I know they would all take a back seat to boating in the near future. Shipwreck Marine near Sacramento
My family and were heading home from our vacation up the coast of California and decided go through Sacramento and head down the 99 to Bakersfield. Mojave is just over the Tehachapi Mountains from Bakersfield so my wife likes to frequent this area. The Sacramento area has many canals and river areas that are a part of the Sacramento Delta that all seem to lead to the ocean. This entire area is quite popular with boaters. Restoration Process duration . . . er, un-duration
I used to wonder how long it took some people to do a restoration of a Glasspar boat. It seems that the true diehard owners will do a complete floor and transom rebuild. This fact in mind, I assumed it would take about a year to rebuild a specific boat.
